Doug Graham is a graduate of Penn State University, B. S. in Finance and enjoyed a 20 plus year Exec Level Career in the Steel Industry with a Fortune 200 U. S. based Company.  Coach Graham has been a successful coach in many sports at the Rec, Travel, and HS levels. Doug is the longest serving BOD member for East Lake Diamond Sports, affiliated now with Babe Ruth and has coached several All Star Softball and Baseball as well as Advanced Baseball in FL and in Oregon.  Doug contacted Bownet Youth Sports about establishing them in FL, first meeting and being impressed by their organization while Asst Coaching on the West Coast for one year.  He has been managing Bownet FL Fastpitch since 2015 and prior was a Coach with several organizations including Team Florida Mizuno/Batbusters, Firecrackers, Patriots, and the Pinellas Warriors. Doug is Level 4 (highest) Certified by USA Softball and all Coaches with Bownet are USA Certified at some level as well as subject to extensive background checks. Doug was a long time coach with Tampa Terror travel baseball org under Coach Sharts. Doug Coached football three years at East Lake High School where his kids attended and played baseball and softball. Kyle attended FSU and graduated with honors. Cooper attends Univ Of FL and graduated East Lake with a 4.46gpa. Mckenna was 3 time All Pinellas County 1st Team at 3 different positions, FACA, All State, PCAC, and currently attends FSU.  Her team finished with the highest GPA in FL Class 7A Softball . Doug is passionate about teaching and passing on his knowledge of the game of softball to coaches and players via the Bownet FL Family. He is all about developing strong adults who work well with others and who also can be great softball players.
